You descend down two flights of stairs into your basement. Your TRANSDIMENSIONAL MANIPULATOR is down here somewhere. You disguised it as a TELESCOPE so that you wouldn't scare your parents.
Now that you think about it, your characters would be quite scared if they saw someone like you in their dimension. You should come up with an alias...something like "John Smith". But nothing too obvious like that. You decide to go into the COMIC WORLD codenamed "The Doctor". That sounds good. That sounds...smashing.
