Current Song on Play: "Man On the Moon" by Phillip Phillips
Merry Christmas everyone! I made it a point to give you guys a very special gift on Christmas day (and there's more coming in the next weeks) - the end to Act Six.
That said, Act Six is completely finished. Overall, the comic is now 580 pages long! It's quite a feat, and I believe Act Seven will far exceed the number of pages in Act Six alone (which is over Act Five by around 20).
For the time being, I'll be updating the comic with an Intermission which will pretty much wrap up Heather's backstory, along with some added treats. I'm planning on starting that on New Year's Eve/Day. However, updates will be put out sparingly for a couple reasons:
(1) I seriously need to rethink how I'm going to continue this story. School work is coming down a bit tight, and I need to put this comic in the back seat of the car that I am not driving right now. I originally intended to try to finish the comic before I graduated from High School, which is this May. Unfortunately, I overestimated my abilities in getting out new panels and Flash animations. I had wanted to start Act Six in September, but Act Five took longer to tell than thought. I wanted to finish Act Six by the end of October, but it has taken much much longer to finish. At this point, finishing more than seven acts by the end of May is highly improbable, since I also have to focus on college stuff and homework. I'll continue to work on the comic, but at this point I expect to finish Act Seven by the end of May.
(2) I will be working on a side project with my cousin, Andrew (I'm sure many of you have noticed that he's come onboard). He and I worked on the brand new Tutorial for the comic recently, and we are looking to take what we did there and do something bigger. The Tutorial involved me drawing some things for Andrew, who then put together the script and the panels. Andrew then published the panels himself. Now, Andrew and I will be working on a side comic, which will exist outside of Season Three while also existing inside of Season Three. The story will focus on the adventures of Agent Axeo and his partner in time and space, Scientist ShΣlþ, as they travel to the center of the time stream in hopes of obtaining the assistance of the Time Stream Deployment Agency in the upcoming galactic war between the Paradox Police and the forces of Elyon and Vorxium's ever-growing army of shadows. I have high hopes for this comic because it will combine Andrew's excellent prose as well as my always improving art-style. The story will tie in with Season Three, and potentially overlap at some points (which I believe will be quite interesting).
Anyway, the comic will still continue. I will take a semi-hiatus throughout the month January (and possibly February), with occasional (but not frequent) updates during the furlough. I hope you all continue to have a wonderful Christmas season, and an amazing new year!
This is M-Log signing off!
